About us - Franklyn’s, a small family run bistro and Cellar Bar, Lesley and her daughter Emily opened in December 2021, the owner and cook Lesley has been in the trade for over 40 years, Lesley has created a petite and simple style bistro.
Throughout her years of cooking she mostly enjoyed French cuisine and has visited the Provence, South of France, every year, this inspired Lesley to create such a place, the idea of a small cosy bistro with a small, simple menu and wine list was exactly what was intended.
The menu changes daily and is altered twice a day for lunch and dinner, this enables Lesley to cook and source local produce using seasonal ingredients.
